Chapter 1 : The nature of Strategic Management.
This chapter is basically the introduction of the subject. Starting from the definition of the strategic management, we will find more about what is exactly the great strategic management applied in every of each organizations.
Strategic management is the art and science of formulating, implementating and evaluating cross functional decisions that enable an organization to achieve its objectives. In such a very siple words, strategic planning.
Basically each on every organizations will have their own strategic management or planning. Why such this play important role in the organization because only what we are going to planning today will made it happen into the future.
Alhamdulillahh. This subject really help me to improve my English. hihi. Well, i still have a lot to improve in wrinting actually. because of the lowest mark that i've got in my muet slip was in writing session. lol.
Seriously i have such an encouragement of writing this blog in English, i have to not-to-be-lazy to finish this task. hope DR Ummi will not be over bored with my writing. again. im speaking rubbish.
So, next will be the stages of strategic management.
1) strategy formulation
2) strategy implementation
3) strategy evaluation
According to the steps, clearly we have to follow the guidelines as we first must have to decide what new business to enter, how to allocate resources,or weather to enter international markets. Every single decisions have to be made based on the strategy formulation in the organization.
